Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Shipper," "Customer," or "you") and Rapid Route Logistics LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of our website, freight brokerage, and transportation services. By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

Rapid Route Logistics provides freight brokerage and transportation services, including but not limited to:

• Dry Van Shipping: Standard enclosed trailer transportation for general freight
• Refrigerated (Reefer): Temperature-controlled transportation for perishables
• Hazmat Transport: Certified hazardous materials transportation
• Expedited Freight: Time-critical shipments with dedicated trucks
• LTL & FTL: Less-than-truckload and full truckload services
• Power Only & Drop Hook: Flexible trailer solutions

We act as a licensed freight broker (FMCSA MC# 105959, USDOT# 3153020) and may utilize our own fleet or contracted carriers to fulfill shipments. All carriers in our network are vetted, licensed, and insured.

Quotes

All quotes are estimates based on information provided and are subject to change. Quotes are valid for 24 hours unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual weight, dimensions, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and market conditions. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if shipment details differ from the original quote.

Booking Confirmation

A shipment is confirmed only upon written acceptance (email or electronic confirmation) from Rapid Route Logistics. Verbal agreements are not binding. Once confirmed, cancellation fees may apply as outlined in our cancellation policy.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are Net 30 days from invoice date for approved credit accounts. New customers may be required to prepay or provide a credit card on file. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. We accept ACH, wire transfer, credit cards, and company checks from approved accounts.

As the shipper, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about the shipment, including weight, dimensions, commodity type, and any special handling requirements
• Properly package, label, and palletize freight according to industry standards
• Ensure cargo is ready for pickup at the scheduled time and location
• Disclose any hazardous materials, temperature requirements, or special handling needs
• Provide accurate pickup and delivery contact information
• Obtain necessary permits or documentation for regulated commodities
• Not ship prohibited items as outlined in our shipping restrictions
• Inspect freight upon delivery and note any damage on the Bill of Lading

Carrier Liability

Motor carriers are liable for cargo loss or damage under the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706). Standard carrier liability is limited to $100,000 per shipment or the actual value of the cargo, whichever is less. For shipments exceeding this value, additional cargo insurance is available upon request.

Filing Claims

Claims for loss, damage, or delay must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery (or expected delivery date). Claims must include: original Bill of Lading, proof of value (invoice), photos of damage, and a detailed description of the claim. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.

Limitation of Liability

Rapid Route Logistics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the transportation charges paid for the shipment in question.

Cancellation Fees

Detention Charges

Free time of 2 hours is provided at pickup and delivery. After free time, detention charges of $75 per hour apply. Layover charges of $350 per day apply if the driver is required to wait overnight due to shipper or receiver delays.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

For interstate shipments, federal law including the Carmack Amendment and FMCSA regulations shall apply where applicable. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action lawsuit against the Company.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
